DJ Elmo

A music man of God. I grew up in the Philadelphia, PA area enjoying pretty much anything that has to do with music. Singing it, dancing to it, writing it, playing it, mixing it, eating it, drinking it and breathing it. I love it.
In 1999 I started using my talents for God at age fourteen when I was baptized into Christ and began song leading for the Greater Philadelphia Church of Christ. In the following years it became a passion.
In 2000 I began DJing as part of the Pierce Entertainment Company. The company was founded in 1988 by my father, Kevin Pierce and my uncle, Keith Pierce. Together, they are the most powerful musical influence I've had in my life.
I spent eight years performing in the HOPE worldwide Story Tree Gang educational children's theater group in Philly and one year directing it. I made some of my closest friends through this group and strongly believe in its messages.
In April, 2006 I moved to Anchorage, Alaska to become the worship leader for the Great Land Christian Church. I am also currently a music major at the University of Alaska Anchorage.
My awesome friends and family have been my drive and inspiration on this incredible journey and I am excited to see where God will take me next. Oh, and don't hate on the name, it'll grow on you...
