even though every time i've been in the vicinity of a famous person i've pretended that they weren't there, like the time i stood directly behind Jello Biafra, Wayne Kramer, and Cornel West watching the bell rays. i just assume they would rather not be bothered. but after saying all that, i would still love to shake Cornel West's hand. and i would love to have a beer or three with Levon Helm.
