i played a five stringed guitar made of cardboard cuz my folks wouldn't buy me a real one...then i convinced my brother to let me use his bass by learning how to play the bass line to the theme from super mario 2 (i dont play video games...so dont use that as an opportunity to chat about the glories of the NES) then i joined a band...this happened several times...then i decided i dont play well with others...and i played with broken t.v.'s, drum machines, silly keyboards, and various other distractions. then i decided to purge myself of said distractions...so i just played acoustic guitar...this seemed to make sense...then i moved away from the south and decided i wasn't interested in getting involved in "scenes" up north...
so i quit playing...
now i make videos and objects that explore the interests and obsessions of the good ole days with the cardboard guitar,...enjoy!
