I know it sounds mostly like "chick flicks" but I like my share of anime as well, go figure...

The Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon, The Frontiersman by Allan W. Eckert, Eragon, Harry Potter. Basically I enjoy historical romance novels that aren't complete fluff, mysteries that have a good twist, anything that gives me another perspective or helps me to see something through someone else's eyes. I'm currently reading "Five Smooth Stones" by Ann Fairbairn.
