A lot of people like to refer to me as El Pisshole or Hell Paso, but once you get to know me you will probably become quite fond of me. I have much to offer such as year round dry, sunny weather, beautiful ladies, gorgeous sunsets, and Chico's Tacos! Here are some facts about me: I'm located in the Chihuahuan Desert of extreme western Texas, along the Rio Grande River. I adjoin both the state of New Mexico and the country of Mexico with the Franklin Mountains, the southern tip of the Rockies, slicing me nearly in two.I have a classic Western geography and share a an international border with Ciudad Juarez, Mexico's rich culture pervades everything in my city, from my art and architecture to my celebrations and cuisine. My area is 248 square miles, making me the fourth largest city in Texas, and 22nd in size in the United States. I'm the nation's third fastest growing metropolitan area. I am a cosmopolitan community; seven in ten El Pasoans are bilingual in English and Spanish, and people from all over the world come here to live, work, do business, get an education, or retire. El Paso abounds with places to go, things to see.
