Da Movement originates from Evans High School , located in Orlando, FL and continues through Valencia Community College & University of Central Florida . We're called Da Movement because we basically establish what's hot - or what's going to be hot, we originate new trends from hairstyles (good example being The Part), slang, to handshakes, clothing and even the types of shoes that can be worn without being flamed.
The actual name, Da Movement, wasn't really official for a while.. until the members by the names of Smith a.k.a. Pretty Smitty and Rony a.k.a. Peril P. decided to name us stylishly and let it be known to all the groupies that constantly bugged and harassed us about who & what we were. Especially since we resemble basically a group who bonded during parties, chill sessions, and through our enjoyment of rapping and performing in front of large crowds.
This MySpace page is part of Da Movement's moves on expanding our influence and exposing ourselves more. We aim to give MySpacers along with any fans of our rappers/freestylers a dose of what we're about by uploading songs and freestyles by our many members. We hope that you enjoy!!
