GTUK/FYOELK split-cassette / Tbb 002 / April 2008 / ltd to 100 copies / 3 euro ppd world! 40 py6.+no4Ta

Long-awaited split-cassette of two great German experimentalists! Gtuk is a gameboygrindcore with a screaming vocals and crazy/bastardised beats of dx spectrum; Fyoelk' music is that I call a heavylistening, but it is melodic enough, intelligent, and even quite dancish since some vintage keyboards and electronix.

An anthology of demo (and some live) recordings by this St. Petersburg-Volosovo-Paris-Sydney noisy punk/hardcore band. 64 short, fast and ripping bombs recorded between 2000 and 2007, including covers by Flipper, Zloy Pop, Serge Gainsbourg, Torets Totalitarizma, Berurier Noir and Birthday Party. 24-page booklet with lyrics, remembrances, photos and all info.
Review from "Maximumrocknroll" 278: Svinokop plays noisy and catchy punk that has the unusual feature of leaving out the metal guitar business from the noise! They have songs that are down right rockin’ in between the songs that combine the catchiness and the chaos, too. And, at the end, they have a song that’s Art Punk Chaotic to top it off. They seem to have a few vocalists, and the songs are sung in Esperanto, English, Finnish, and Russian, but not all at once. Really great, really interesting and totally fun. Get it! (Erin)

Experimental finnish girls’ weirdness out of Tampere. Its northern an answer to the likes of Allun, but that scandinavian outfit sounds more peaceful, with some acoustic and folk instruments and different objects played by five girls that brings pleasure to your ears. Monopolka' side consists of 13 compositions performed during 2001-2003 and self-released by the girls on CDR. Ej Tu Dirst' side is Kukkiva Poliisi’ performance recorded live 9.11.2004 by me at Ula in Volosovo, Russia.

Re-issue of Khimera' 1993 tape that contains of 16 songs recorded back in 1993 in St.Petersburg, Russia and originally released on their own label Egazeba / Abdylda. Khimera combined great surrealistic and mystic lyrics with their own out-of-description sound achieved by punk rhythm-section and cello as well as a trumpet. They played loud and noisy enough, improvised and mixed different music styles including punk, hardcore, noise, etc. A few songs from this release were featured on a split 7 w/ swiss anarcho-punks S.F.D.F.
