Welcome to the OFFICIAL MySpace page of Birmingham rock band KNOCKOUT NED!
Formed in 2005 by five students from Birmingham, Knockout Ned have been playing and writting material ever since. A sound now defined, the band talk about much more serious items in their music. While the band still love to play their old songs <[b>'Will Can't Play Guitar', 'King of the Land'], they know that those songs are written by teenage boys who were still learning how to play. Three years on from forming, Knockout Ned focus more on the lyrics now then ever, and they know what they are talking about. Latest recording 'Lost in the City' sees the band explore in to obscure tales of wanting to be accepted, but being afraid to branch out. Equally, the latest track 'I'm a Name, I'm a Face, I'm a Statistic' hits out against the idea of Big Brother and living in a Nanny State.
When performing live, the band still pride themselves on being entertaining and powerful.
