RANGOL' ROCK-n-ROLL!

About Me

LOCAL UNION, founded in 1998, embrace an "OLD SCHOOL" punk rock ethic that is easily recognized in their music. "There was a time" says frontman and Bass guitarist Jason Clark "when members of a declining society sought action and owned a sense of community and responsibility for social change. Our lives should reflect that ideology. If they do, our music will coalesce." The members of LOCAL UNION view PUNK ROCK as one of few remaining genres of music used as a "Common Man’s" voice. With lyrics that invoke personalities like Joe Strummer and Johnny Cash delivered through gravelly vocals, driving rythms and aggressive, no-nonsense leads, LOCAL UNION focus their efforts on being not just a band, but a voice of a common community.
