i am making 23 new songs up...sort of...
i'm not sure how long it will take.
it will be called
"peanut butter and jellery"
each new song(s) will initially be on my myspace here
and the completed and archived work will be up on my old songaday blog at
martystuff.blogspot.com ...
at the end, i think i'll call it an 'album', and give it artwork and everything.
initially i thought i would reserve the right to re-sequence the tracks, but i take that back. it'll be more interesting to let the album sequence itself.
i can make no guarantees about the quality of these songs, both conceptually and in listening-wise...we'll find out together...
i am in a band called uncle monsterface , which takes up most of my musictime. but sometimes i make songs by myself, too. a bunch of the songs i made are from when i made a a songaday for 30 days 3 times (equals 90 songs) in 2004-2005. the astute observer could dig around on there and find the superold original versions of several monsterface songs! but then also i just make songs that aren't one-a-day sometimes, and i don't really know what to do with them if they don't become uncle monsterface songs, so you win, myspace!
i also draw and make a lot of art-stuff, and some of that is here, too.
i make a living by selling small portraits of sock puppets that i make. you can see them all at martystuff.com , and you can even become all of their myspace friends. yay.please let me know what you think of stuff, i love to hear from folks.
