About Me

Soul 4 Sale was formed in 1999. In a time when most 'punk' bands were concerning themselves with coordinating their jumps and outfits, Soul 4 Sale was busy trying to not fall down from being drunk and remembering to keep their pants on. Since then, trends have come and gone. But one thing has stayed the same: Soul 4 Sale's stringent lack of concern for quality and inability to stay sober.
Often found berating crowds in a futile attempt to overcompensate for their tiny, flaccid penises in everything from small halls to large clubs with a large variety of local and national bands, even Soul 4 Sale's set was basically the same for like 5 fucking years. But rave reviews kept pouring in. One ecstatic fan was heard to mutter in an orgasmic whimper "You guys seemed a little more sober this time. When does You And What Army go on?" Heady praise indeed! But we prefer to let the music speak for itself. Thats if myspace's music player decides to work.
Now piss off.

Instant Asshole and the weekend of reunions

We first want to thank everyone who came out to the shows and sweltered with us this weekend. Is sweltered a word? I know sweltering is, but I'm not sure if it's viable as a verb past tense. Anyway, t...

Back in the studio next month.

Quick note to say we'll be recording more songs in early February. Details are sketchy, as we haven't written them yet, but we promise they will be songs, at least 30 seconds in length. They will have...

Heres some more info on the new record.

Alright, so far we've been light on info regarding what it is we've just done. We initially went in to record possibly 4-6 songs but what we came out with is 9 songs. Here they are, in no order: 1. Fa...

Studio Journal Day 3 - All Finished.

As predicted, we finished early. We tracked the new song, I cleaned up the rest of my vocals and John worked his knob turning magic. Also Mike put the last piece of the puzzle in place the 'No more un...

Studio Journal Day 2 - Or the Pepsi Deliveryman Who Stole Christmas.

We finished all the guitars by 3 oclock, which led to a harsh realization: we would be done by 2 pm wednesday. Then 90% of the vocals were done by 8 PM or so...which confirmed our fears. And what happe...

Studio Journal Day 1

Funny thing about studio journals is they always start "Day 1: Did drums today." We wanted ours to be different. So we started on vocals for the Spanish version of Terrorists Are Pussies or Terrorista...

Heres whatsup with Soul 4 Sale lately (and help Crank find a bassist.)

1. Obviously, we've been laying low for some time now. We had the transition from Jeff at drums back to our original drummer Casey, took a little while to get the kinks out and we've been writing a vo...
