Punk Rocks In Your Cabeza

About Me

With nothing to do in Houston but sweat, starting a band was the only solution to have fun, stay indoors and out of the heat. How ironic is it that the only way to judge your success in the Bayou City is to try and cram 800 people in an upstairs non-air-conditioned attic of a venue (Fitzgeralds) in the middle of August? This band has done just that for the last ten years. Logging in nearly 600 shows, selling over 30,000 CD's, tapes and 7-inches, with over five releases, and at least 10,000 T-shirts, all lead to 30footFALL becoming the notorious punk rock sellouts of the local scene. Well, not really. They still have to work full-time jobs, except for the lazy ones. With countless miles, three vans, five replaced engines, 16 new tires, and about a million gallons of gas, 30footFALL has trekked across the country enough times to make any red blooded American grandparents proud. Starting even before their first local show on Mother's Day 1993, they began mining the punk rock sound that incorporates many musical influences. 30footFALL have managed to stick with the usual comical delivery of humor-through-therapy lyrics supported by a well-rounded punchy punk sound. They have toured extensively with some of today's leading punk draws: The Vandals, Pennywise, The Offspring, The Mighty Bosstones, Propaghandi, Blink 182, Strung Out, Face to Face, Tilt, and countless others. See them live and remember why you started going to sweaty punk shows....to have fun and be a kid again. If all you want is to sit at home and play video games while your kid brother takes his turn at the controls, then pick up the band's CD "Ever Revolving, Never Evolving" or their latest "The Doppler Effect" and listen to some funny lyrics (watch out for the serious meanings) and catchy punk riffs. If you want to see how bad one guy can smell and three others can bitch and moan about it, then sit and chat with this band.
