I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I used to be a bartender at the satyricon in the nineties.I had some great and not so great times in the years that I worked there. We all had silly nicknames back then, you may remember me as the "punk rock goddess" or "black haired beauty" (I always liked that one). Anyway, these days I am going to school part-time and I am just carol, or elizabeth depending on where I know you from.

My Interests

Gardening, camping in the mountains, especially the Mt. Hood forests. Helping abandoned and or neglected animals. Reading books.

I'd like to meet:

I would like to hear from some old friends from my past, especially my "old school" friends from satyricon.

Music:

I tend to prefer dark, depressing music like Bauhaus, but I also like classical music, punk rock and a few other types in-between. If I had to pick three favs they would be: The Wipers, Bauhaus and, Chris Newman (love Napalm Beach and Divining Rods!) but I also like Nick Cave, L7, Bad Religion, The Kills, The Sex Pistols, Neil Young, Elliot Smith........

Movies:

I like classic scary movies, Rosemary's Baby is probably my all time fav horror flick. The Omen was pretty good too. I like pretty much all of Roman Polanski's movies but Repulsion is the absolute best. I also love documentaries, all kinds, but especially nature movies. I absolutely loved Winged Migration, March of the Penguins and Grizzly Man.

Television:

I mostly watch the shows on public broadcasting like Nature, Nova, Frontline, and Masterpiece theatre. But I also like Law & Order and I have to admit (cringe) I am addicted to Top Model.

Books:

I am a book fanatic I love collecting books and am always buying more whenever I can afford them. Some of my favorites are:, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, The Call of the Wild, Watership Down, The Secret Life of Plants, and Geek Love. I am currently reading a great book called American Gods, it is destined to become one of my all time favorites! Just a few of my favorite authors are Jane Austin, D.H Lawrence, Thoreau, and Sylvia Plath.

Heroes:

E.O. Wilson.
