My first musical memory is of listening to guns n roses with my older brother when i was about 10 probably. Once i saw Matt Sorum playing the drums for them i wanted to do the same. I started getting lessons at school and became hooked on drums! I played for three different bands over the next 5 years until i was introduced to drum n bass by a freind at school. Naturally i was blown away by the sound and the drums and wanted to hear more. As i got more and more into the music i started wanting to play records, i loved the idea of being able to play all my favourite tunes together myself! A year or so down the line and i got myself a set of turntables and i havnt stopped ever since. I did my first gig at a dj comp in Preston, looking back it was absolute shite but i came 2nd in the semi final! Since then i've played two other gigs - one in Preston again and one at 'Glass' in Manchester. Theres not much of a scene in Preston because its crap, but im hoping to get more gigs now im in manchester.That pretty much covers the past 3/4 years up until now. Ive just finished a music technology course at the School of Sound Recording in Manchester and am starting to make my own beats too I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4
