About Me

Try the BEST MySpace Editor and MySpace Layouts at MySpace Toolbox !My daily existence is somewhat of a "freak show" but without the band of midgets running around. But, hey, I don't mind, that's how I roll!
Charlie's Angels
I've lived in Charleston most of my life but grew up in Philly, home of the "South Street cheesesteak". When people ask if I'm Northern or Southern...I'm the best of both worlds. Gotta respect your heritage! (I'm related to Robert E. Lee, Vito Genovese, and a Cover Girl model. Figure that one out. Okay, I'm nuts, it's genetic.)
I entered the glorious world of business and accounting but my true love is creative pursuits. I look to delve more into those interests.
Ever see Whitney Houston in the movie "The Bodyguard"? That's me...a bit showy, extroverted, sarcastic, obstinate, quite sensitive, and loyal. Singing, however, is not in my repertoire, unless you want to buy earplugs.
Prefer sports to tea, crumpets, and the discussion that so-and-so is wearing white before Easter. I am who I am and have a bitter distaste for 'posers', lol!
Philadelphia Eagles all the way! (Reggie White, tragic loss) Tennessee Vols, Clemson Tigers. Won a MLB pool years ago, this chica knew her stuff, cholo. Braves, Red Sox, Tigers (for my friend Chad in his memory), Orioles, and Cubs. NY Yankee destruction!
The diva prefers intellectual pursuits and abhors manual labor as well as power tools that accompany it.
Oh, and I hate to cook. An American "Bridget Jones" though without the blue string.
That's how I roll...
What Be Your Nerd Type? Your Result: Literature Nerd

Does sitting by a nice cozy fire, with a cup of hot tea/chocolate, and a book you can read for hours even when your eyes grow red and dry and you look sort of scary sitting there with your insomniac appearance? Then you fit this category perfectly! You love the power of the written word and it's eloquence; and you may like to read/write poetry or novels. You contribute to the smart people of today's society, however you can probably be overly-critical of works. It's okay. I understand.

Are you a Freak or a Geek? Your Result: You're a freak!

You pretty much don't care what people think of you. Sometimes you can be a scary bully, but other times you're into just hanging out with friends, cutting class, and drinking beer. Evading authority is your number one priority.

You're a geek!

Whats your Goth name? Your Result: Jason

You're quite the storyteller! You would make an excellent entrepreneur, politician, or journalist.

My Interests

Travel. Planning trips. Conjuring up new adventures. Routine bores me so love trying new things. Expanding my mind. Learning Italian. Hitting the beach. Boating. Biking. Rollerblading. Outsmarting people. Charity. Thinking up business ideas. Creative writing. Preserve Route 66. Gaining knowledge on photography and graphic art. Classy (not tacky) vintage. Modern design.

I'd like to meet:

Nutty people, vastly intelligent people, whatever their perspective on things. People who have exotic island retreats and will let me stay for free. Anyone who will bring me a "gyro" and pronounce the word correctly. Absolutely not Rosie O'Donnell or Tom Cruise, they reek of something so horrible it is beyond my comprehension.

Him. Definitely.

Look out! The Diva & Tansy Vol-o-Rama are hitting the high seas!

Music:

Aerosmith. Santana. Elton John. Prince. INXS. Guns 'n Roses. The Cure. Sean Paul. Finger Eleven. Nirvana. Black Uhuru. Pink Martini. Matchbox 20. Amy Winehouse. Queensryche. The Fifth Dimension. Cat Stevens. Andreas Vollenweider. Garbage. Steel Pulse. Johann Sebastian Bach & Baroque classical music. Odd movie soundtracks. Don't care for country music or bluegrass, otherwise bring it on!

Movies:

Notting Hill. Kalifornia. American Beauty. Fletch. The Good, the Bad, & the Ugly. Silver Streak. Sixteen Candles. Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. Coming to America. Flirting with Disaster. Pulp Fiction. The Bodyguard. Chocolat. Friday. Superstar. Anything Quentin Tarantino. Something About Mary. The Talented Mr. Ripley. Clueless. Thomas Crown Affair. Long Kiss Goodnight. Old movies. Foreign movies. Horror flicks.

Television:

Travel shows. Reality tv, too many to mention. True crime programs. Anything where people are debating. Shows with inteligint banter, like my banter. Seinfeld. Dirty Jobs (think I love Mike Rowe, no, wait, I do love him). I am constantly changing the channel! I am not "addicted" to much. Prefer to watch a movie. 'Smiling Bob' & 'Geico cavemen' commercials.

Books:

All of Ann Rule's true crime books, "The House of the Spirits" (Isabel Allende), "The Count of Monte Cristo" (Alexandre Dumas), Jackie Collins (a little Hollywood smut, good for the soul), "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" (John Berendt), "The Bridget Jones Diary (Helen Fielding), Mario Puzo, James Patterson, John Irving, Maeve Binchy, John Grisham, Shakespeare (sonnets). Books on spirituality, business, psychology, the arts. Favorite magazine is "Cote Sud". Plus 'trash mags' for a chuckle.

Heroes:

My parents (I lost my mom in 1998) and my grandmother. My cousin's wife Diane(he passed away a year ago), she has been through so many challenges that most wouldn't have had the courage to meet. Those who stand up and serve our country. And anyone who lives by their conscience and has the courage to be who they really are.
