I am here for Dating and Friends

About Me

My name is George. I was born in 1987. I come from Stratford-upon-Avon, but I now live in Nottingham. I am a socialist. I have a very varied taste in music. I like a good movie. I own a few. I am not currently in a relationship, but one would be nice. Have I freaked you out yet? I'll keep going. I can usually come up with some smart-arse comment, so if you wanna chat across the vast casm that is MySpace then feel free, we're probably alone as everyone else is on facebook (I am too, but it's still nice to pop in here every so often). I constantly change the song on my profile, but the classic that is Jan Hammer's "Crockett's Theme" keeps re-appearing, so if you like 80s cheese stick around. You could, but probably won't, do a lot worse.I edited my profile at Freeweblayouts.net , check out these Myspace Layouts!

My Blog

Um, yeah... (the depressing situation part 2)

I sent another email to the Labour Party today asking them not to end my membership. Now, I know this is a huge u-turn from 24 hours ago, but I have my reasons, which I'll attempt to outline below: 1....

The depressing situation

You know, I find it funny to think that, as I write this, it is only two weeks since polling day in the local elections, in which I was standing as a Labour candidate. I was campaigning on local ...

Trident (warning: contains politics)

Wellllll, plans to replace the Trident nuclear weapons system passed through the House of Commons tonight; around 90-95 Labour MPs rebelled, but as the Conservatives voted with the government it was e...

Don't worry, I'm safe

Everything was fine at the anti-war demonstration on Saturday- I was neither killed nor arrested. So you can stop worrying ;)

Pirates and NIN

Last night was Sarah's 19th birthday party, and, as shown by all the pictures, we went dressed as pirates and had an absolutely awesome time. Cheers folks for making it so worth it. I'm also bein...

Thoughts and other ramblings

Well, just another faintly pointless blog that I find more enjoyable to write than you do to read, but what the hell, I'll carry on. Just starting the 'long run' at uni, i.e. 4 weeks of intense work t...

My glorious return to Nottingham

Well, this is the last day of my holiday at home, and it's been pretty good, catching up/ getting wankered with all the old crew. Tomorrow (Sat 6th) I head back to Nottingham, where I will have n...

Ho ho fucking ho

It seems that, once again, Christmas is almost upon us. You can almost smell the capitalism in the air, as unscrupulous business people prepare to dive into the swimming pool of money that i...

The Gazely Inquiry

A disgusting abuse of power by Gazely, as far as I'm concerned. I'm rallying support for you, boys!
