Music rules my life to a fair extent, either recording, writing, or performing it.

I don't know what kind of a person I am, but at the same time I'm comfortable with whatever other people see me as. If I care about someone they'll know, but I don't feel any great need to be loved or respected... Ok, I'm very rarely respected, and I just accept that! :p Apparently it's hard to tell when I'm joking sometimes, but I'm a nice guy really- I like to take the piss though, usually out of myself.

There's not much point in keeping two blogs, so here is my livejournal page.

My Interests

Music is my passion. Besides that I'm kind of embarrassed at how I've got no real hobbies!!I like to read, and try to stay knowledgeable though it's usually an uphill struggle for me. Travelling is always fun.

I'd like to meet:

People who are interested in music creation and production, people with interesting views, folks who like to go to gigs, have a good time, and all that.

Music:

Well... My last answer was pretentious. In terms of sheer genius in terms of artistry, being true to themselves and still writing bloody good songs, my all-time favourites are in no particular order;

Pink Floyd, U2, Tool, Deftones, REM, Radiohead, The Music, Muse, The Mars Volta, Daniel Lanois, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Flaming Lips.

I'm really into Porcupine Tree and The Delays right now, check them out!

Movies:

I like proper movies with intelligent plots and something to think about. My favourites are things like 2001: A Space Odyssey, Apocalypse Now, that kind of stuff.

Television:

Besides the simpsons and the news I don't really watch TV, unless theres a really good series on like Rome or Planet Earth.

Books:

Action, adventure, Sci-Fi, classical, that kind of stuff.

Heroes:

I don't really have heroes. I respect lots of people, but thats not really the same thing, is it?
