Music (obviously), food, politics, more food, art, more food, wine, more food, travel, more food, beaches, more food, baseball, I also like to eat too!! Give me a beer!
Mentally stable people that can appreciate the finer things in life. Good music and great attitude are a must!! A willingness to have fun is also required!! I will be making a concentrated effort to meet all my old friends again for the first time!! The Oracle has Spoken!
I love music that you can't hear on the radio. Something that breaks some new ground and challenges your mind. www.theagencymusic.com www.theagency.imeem.com www.myspace.com/theagencyband
So many movies out there are the same. There ARE some good ones every now and then. Stuff that makes you think and keeps you guessing is always good. Eternal Sunshine, 21 Grams, I heart Huckabees, Pulp Fiction, Raising Arizona, Swingers, Memento, and way too many others to mention right now
All the shows on HBO are great, really into Six Feet Under. Anyone want to discuss which character on that show is more dysfunctional?? But alas, that show is now gone forever. The Sopranos just ended again. I did really enjoy this season but I did feel that it lacked some of the real firepower of previous seasons. The whole story of Vito as a fanook was very surreal. And that scene where Tony faced Death had so many underlining meanings I can't even begin to describe them all. Deadwood is starting again! What will the ragin' stick of justice do this year? I like to play a game when watching the show: everytime a character says the word "cocksucker" you have to drink some beer. That can be anywhere from 10 to 200 times in one hour!! The best thing about the HBO stuff is that there are no damn commercials, I can watch them in High-def and I get them with on demand too! Also cannot live with out my weekly dose of Jon Stewart and the Daily Show. So funny. So on point. And now we have the hilarious Stephen Colbert to follow him up everynight. It is like getting two for the price of one!! Anyone that obsesses over American Idol should remove themselves from my friends list immediately!
I love non-fiction, especially current events. Fast food Nation, anyone?? I am reading that authors new book called "Reefer Madness" Guess what it is about?
I have all kinds of people that I admire and look up to. The late Hunter S Thompson comes to mind right away. If only there were more people out there telling the untold truths like he was. We will miss you!!Bill Mahr-Can anyone be more on point and funny at the same time? I even more recently gained more respect for him because he recently admited some mistakes to the neo-cons.Trent Reznor-The guy is a machine, plain and simple. He is literally a one-man army when it comes to music. He refuses to compromise in any way, continues to be way ahead of everyone else in creativity and trend setting, and can take a concept from idea to finished product without anyones help. That to me is very impressive.
