I love to read, especially mystery/suspense books, African-American fiction, and I've just got hooked to true crime. I try to read at least one book a week. Cooking, decorating...I love spending time with friends and family...they keep me grounded. I love children..hope to have at least two some day. Also love the regular stuff...bowling, playing pool, going to lounges....

There aren't many good shows on nowadays thanks to the reality tv explosion, but I love the design shows (I was watching trading spaces before it became popular)...also love Grey's Anatomy, Law and Order, Desperate Housewives, The Practice (reruns), Curb your Enthusiam, Da Ali G Show, The Wire, Ugly Betty, Nip/Tuck...
I try to read at least one book a week....multiply that by the years that I've been reading and we'll definetely have too many to name...One of my favorite books though is "Their Eyes were Watching God" by Zora Neal Hurston, any bell hooks book....
My family members...they've shown me how to deal with the stuff life throws at you and overcome...Any woman making things happen for herself, her family and her people......
