About Me

Their is no greater meaning in life than the three L's (Love, Learning and Laughter). I have shed many tears in my life but I have also felt a great deal of joy so, I wouldn't change a thing.

My Interests

MUSIC!!!! I love all kinds of music from electonic, punk, funk, blues, etc... Biological sciences!! I studied humans both present and past and the nonhuman primates (monkeys and apes). I also enjoy astronomy, physics, and gardening. I love to be outside and always have so I lived in Colorado till recently. I traded in my motor city wheels for a bike but I have to admit I am missing road trips. It was great not to have a car for three years. It forced me to find alternatives like walking, riding my bicycle or taking the bus. Being back, don't have much of a choice but, I would like to find a healthy balance between Colorado and Michigan living.

I'd like to meet:

I'd like to locate the people I once knew and make new friends.

Music:

Basically... I love it all. Hip-Hop, Heavy Metal, Rock, Jazz, Blues, Bluegrass, Punk, Funk, New Age, Classical, Progressive, Electronic, etc... I am kind of sick of the jam band thing and I don't care too much for young country but that doesn't mean I won't listen to new music.

Movies:

I love comedy classics: The Jerk, Spinal Tap, Pooti Tang, Office Space, The Wedding Singer, History of the World: Part 1 (pretty much any Mel Brooks), Monty Python (all), etc... Old classic film, drama, anything but horror!

Television:

Don't watch muchFamily Guy, Simpsons, starting to enjoy a little of these reality shows but honestly, I can't watch TV for long.

Books:

I love reading books that are educational (like "how to", or science based).

Heroes:

my dadOk, this is probably silly, but I really want Wii. If anyone else feels the same click on this link. What do you have to lose?

Someone needs to watch this video and tell me if this is the same Asian man who played the doctor in "Knocked Up". I'm waiting....

Moving back to Michigan...The great transition!

It's exciting and scary to think about this move.  There is so much available in both places.  I will miss my Colorado friends and the amazing sites of nature. On the other hand, there ...
