However, at age 12, Sakeemah Myon'g tried her hand at being an MC. Although she had the talent, she didn't feel her delivery was competitive, so instead she wrote rhymes for others, but continued to hone her skills as a singer. Sakeemah Myon'g is also a great dancer and has choreographed dance routines for hair shows, fashion shows and music videos. Sakeemah Myon'g has a sound all her own. She masterfully blends, hip-hop, soul, r&b, reggae and pop. Using her rhyming skills she can jump on any hip-hop beat and rip it or flip to a soothing r&b track and make you want to make love to your boo. You'll see her versatility when you hear how angelic she sounds on "Beautiful" and then see how she rides the track on "R U Wit That", both of which she wrote. Sakeemah Myon'g has collabarated with philly artist Kasius Kane on "I Don't Know", Mz. Lynx on "Rock My Body" and bay area artist Pizzo the Heaterman on "R U Wit That", from his latest lp OGCJM which is in stores now. Sakeemah Myon'g always gets the party started when she performs carefully blending theatrics and dance in her shows. She's performed all over Philadelphia singing the national anthem at 5 for Life Ent. "Rumble on the Mainline"; Philadelphia "Hip-Hop caberet"; Philadelphia "Organized Noise"; New York's "The Underground"; ATL's "Red Train" and "Crow's Nest"; and "Treo Inc Annual Fashion Extravaganza". Sakeemah Myon'g has recenlty moved west to the bay area and is currently working on new music and booking shows. Look out for her ya'll.....remember, you heard it here first.
