About Me

This is a tribute to the late great Get Down Syndrome--one of the more kick-ass rock outfits to come out of Seattle in the recent past. It was mostly the work of Steve Horvath on guitar, vocals, and other odds and ends on the recordings such as organ, piano, and pedal steel. Rachel Rudnick pounding out a primitive tatoo on a very rudimentary drumkit from a sort of sideways standing/dancing position. Matt Remple (Rimple?) playing the other guitar and doing about half of the leads. Sadly they split up a few years back. Steve does still play occasionally for Pho Bang (an off-the-hook-and-up-yr-assface punk drag cabaret event held every blue moon or so nowadays) with Ursula and Androids, and Jackie and the Control Tops. If anybody has better information or images send 'em our way.
