JUST A COMMENT: It is time that America learns that it is in the countries BEST INTERESTS to seek the betterment of all of it's citizens. As you read this, many neighborhoods and their occupants are being targeted as slave labor in the increasing number of Prisons/Plantations that this government is establishing all over the country. It is time we learned that only by establishing the seeds of education in our children, and economic growth in our neglected neighborhoods through small business start-ups, new franchises, and investment in new ideas and untapped markets will this truly be the land of the free. If we continue to neglect these neighborhoods drugs, crime, and poverty, will continue to have a stranglehold on the development of our most vulnerable communities. The economic divide will get larger and larger, and the power of this country will stay out of the reach of the people, and continue to stay in the hands of the economicly empowered few. Only we can determine the legacy we choose to leave the children of this country. Will it be the same society of have and have-nots, or can our communities learn from the examples of what works in this country, to improve the plight of the poor. Is this really the land of the free? For, only when a people are economicly free, can they call themselves truly free.
