A break from the norm Sinister supplys a mix of abstract dnb combining hard breakz n killer basses deep strings and intoxicating riffs with all the lyrics of a jump up show brought to you by Ransoms vocalist Mc Eazy-A with his unique freestyle/hip hop approach.DJ SINISTER THE JOURNEYAfter being introduced to the dance music scene by a family member in 1990 i was given a tape of Colin dale on kiss f.m (abstract dance sessions)which was duly rinsed till it fell apart, i was then thrown into the world of dance/hardcore and also pirate radio. Listening to many pirate stations including Centreforce,Horizons,Pulse,Defection,Rush,Format,Sweet,Cyndi cut & Kool f.m. It soon got me wanting a piece of the action, hooking up with some of the older cats in school i was taken aside, shown the "art of mix" and started the journey. Once i had acquired a set of my own decks (soundlabs)things moved fast and after 6 months i sent a tape to sweet f.m and was shocked at being asked to do a regular show brushing shoulders with dj's like Danny breakz,Peshay,Nut Nut & Danny c,along with the regular dj's on there. In time came my rave scene I attended my first rave in 1993 a night called "equinox" in leister square i remember hearing ratty and dj Sy, after that moment raving was the norm and playing one was my goal. I carried on playing on sweet for about 2 years becoming involved with "Club booyakka"@Hats nightclub, Basildon and played many times often with big name dj's which with me being so young at that time(sweet 16) was almost a dream and i continued from there. The music was changing and so were my tastes, discovering Rush, Defection & Kool f.m totally focused me into what i wanted to do and after a 2 year radio absence and many Kool f.m shows logged in my memory i felt i was ready for radio again. A chance meeting with a Elite f.m member resulted in a regular slot on which at the time was one of Essexs big stations along with the vocal talents of mc Boney D we started the journey once more but with more ammo and more fire! Soon on after came another m.c by the name of Mr Eazy-A and we all went on to smash the f.m for a couple of years together, soon after Elite merged with another local station Klass f.m and things didnt go to plan on there but something good always comes out of something bad ... eventually. After managing to get a residency @Strictly Butter, Oscars pier through dj Frenzic Kool f.m came knocking 1997 was gonna be a good year and Sinister & Easy finally got there dream,KOOL F.M MAN! everybody wanted to be on there and we were! whilst on kool we played b2b with dj's & m.c's including Ruff Stuff & Fun,Ital,Shockin,Shabba,Probe,Ic3 also enjoying three wicked birthday sessions but all good things come to an end and due to trouble commuting i was forced to give my show on the kools f.m an unwelcome rest. Soon after landing the show on Kool f.m we managed to squeeze a show on essex's leading dnb station Cyndicut f.m in 1999 a chance to represent Kool f.m in Essex out to the DAZ, dj Touch and mc A1 who introduced me too nuff up and coming artists including Majisrate,M.A.T.T,Nicol,Ecksman,Curse and many others, nuff good shows and friends made there, radio faded after nearly 6 years of rolling out and producing started to become more prominent after not even starting producing until about late 1999 i wished i had begun sooner, after 5 years with my head in the studio watching people around me i figured it was my turn and bought my first setup i've progressed a great deal and now with more equipment and knowledge my aim is to start a label with one of my beat buddys Jon karma RANSOM RECORDINGS SOON COME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In late 2004 internet radio became the next regular thing an introduction to the futuredrumz.com head honcho dj Snear and a weekly show locked down on da fdz became a regular big up da Snear,Verge and dj Etch wicked tings yea? 2005 back on the Kools f.m Sinister and Eazy-A second time around and our objective is really to get some prime time buisness for Ransom Recordings on the Kool f.m! Big ups to: lady Mia,iccle Kaine,Eastman,Susie G,Funky Flirt all Kool kru, all Futuredrumz kru,Dex n Chew also R.I.P to the Danny "superdan" allen and the mighty Tommy "rufftone" Shand.
