Harry McGraw

Harry is described as a soulful guitar player/songwriter, with roots and influences ranging from blues, rock, funk, and soul.Having parents who encouraged and supported his passion for playing guitar, He began his journey as a guitar player with his first band in the late 70s "Dark Horse". He now writes, record and plays live in the Phoenix metro area.
Throughout the eighties and nineties, Harry played live shows with bands including "Intents", which was a pop-rock band complete with spandex and big hair, "Romeo Wilde, and "The Traveling Freakshow".
In 1999 Harry joined up with former 80s rocker Pete Loran of the band Trixter and performed several live shows opening for such acts as Eddie Money, Robin Trower, and Dokken, Styx, Kansas, REO Speedwagon.In 2001 Harry released a song entiltled Win or Lose on www.mp3.com and had the number one downloaded song in America for three days. In Phoenix Harry has also recorded guitar tracks for several local bands for their cds.
Harry's primary focus in music now is with the band Big Blue Unit, a blues-rock band that writes and records all their own music and consists of very seasoned musicians in the East Valley of Phoenix. Band Mates include Chuck Rehder, John Willis, and Tommy Corbin.
Now it's 2007 and Harry rocks out across the Phoenix metropolitan area playing with several other musicians and bands.
