I'm from Yorkshire and I am fiercely proud of it! I play bass and have no interest in bein a guitar hero at all!! Though the inevitable expenditure involved in being in a band does go against the grain, my grounding in all things music gives me a good background. Not been playing long but loving it and learning all the time!! Plus I keep t' pidgeons in t' loft!!! Splashed out on a Fender Precision Bass using the kids college fund!!!

I bought drums five years ago and taught myself by drumming to the music of my favourite bands. It's cool making our own stuff though, and I feel more involved since we decided that I would sing a bit from behind the kit - do you call this being a back man? I also play the Pink Oboe!!
