I am a strong, hardworking, independent, God-fearing black woman who co-owns both an automotive shop by the name of Preferred Engine and Trans and a record label. I am all about empowering people and learning as much as I can from as many as I can, and passing that information on. I believe we do not have long here, so we need to make the most out of what we got and stop stressing over needless things and tolerating foolishness, wasting unnecessary time. My interests, well its like this, I range from a very laid back sister to a very sophisticated sister. What I mean by that is if its a day to chill, its a day to chill everyday does not have to be a special event. But if the sun is shining and its nice I'm going out! (That is unless the Bears are on, I am a big football fan.) That could mean just a drive or it could mean a function. Its whateva. I'm really not that picky and am pretty much up for just about anything. JUST ABOUT! My range of music is very eclectic. I can find something in every genre that I like but I am big fans of Mary J. Blige, Maroon5, Matchbox 20, linkin park, and all old-school rap. I'm really touchy with new rap only because I feel our talent is stronger than alot of stuff currently out there. Movies I am a big movie buff!! I love movies but not too mushy tho. I like movies that make you think and try to surprise you at the end, but no scary movies!! I don't do scary movies, and foreign films...don't do those either. Anything you gotta take the time to read you don't need to go see I feel, except maybe Chocolat. That was good. But I was tricked into seeing that. Damn my cousin! Okay, tv where do I start! My life is centered around my tv schedule, when I can. My favorites are surprisingly the Tyra show (its actually really good!) Project Runway(could be my model flashbacks), Beauty and the Geek (too funny), Monk, oh and of course American Idol, the qualifying episodes. I don't really watch it too much after that. Shout-outs go to The Best Week Ever and The Soup. And we cannot forget the "Black Batchelor" - The Flavour of Love. I also likeThe Boondocks, Robot Chicken, and Harvey Birdman Attorney at Law. I wasn't going to fill this section out because I actually read a lot and I would be on here forever, but just in case artists see this and actually take the time to read this, I will say I highly recommend the book: "All You Need to Know About the Music Business" by Donald S. Passman. This needs to become your music bible. A hero to me is anyone who gives back and always believes and helps others to believe that the glass is half full, not half empty.
