As far as playing music, my first instrument was the trumpet in 2nd grade. That only lasted a year. Then i took some piano lessons in 1985. Then in 1987, i got my first synthesizer and messed around with MIDI on my Commodore 64. I used to play for 5-6 hours straight for years on the keyboard. I picked up the guitar in 1990 and self taught myself with a friend of mine. In 1994 i got a Roland MT-32 (which i still have) and an IBM with Cakewalk 4.0 and that is when things started to take off. My first band was in 1991 where we wrote 1 song but the band didn't go anywhere. I was in a cover band in 1992 which i was a keyboard player in which we played at Cedar Beach in Mt. Sinai in August of 1992 in front of a bunch of teenagers. In between '93 and '97 i wrote some songs but they weren't that good. Then in '98, i met up with my current lyricist in the band, "The Mystic Underground" Where i bought a Yamaha keyboard, then a Roland XP-30 in 1999 and a Roland Fantom X6 in 2004. From 2004 to present, I also fiddled with VST plug-in synths.

My tastes in music have changed throughout the years. From birth to 1985 I was into general mainstream music. From 1986 thru 1993 I was mainly into heavy metal and also listened to some mainstream dance, rap and hip hop (like beastie boys licensed to ill). 1994 was the year things changed, I completly got off of heavy metal and went to dance with a little of mainstream hip hop and freestyle and even a little reggae.. 1995 to present has been electronic and dance music with a little other influences in between. . . My new favorite song of the moment:
