About Me

Why halo thar! I'm Sasha, I'm a crazy, odd girlie, who piles up her hopes too high until they all fall down. I'm stuck between the states, and my Beloved Brazil. I beg your pardon if I don't respond as fast as you or I would like, but sometimes my sanity decides to fuck with me, as does the wondrous thing that is time.
I'm not here at Myspace to increase my 'e-popularity', and will not simply add someone just for the hell of having a crapload of friends.

MUSIC. Is pretty much life. Nothing quite cheers me up like some good Electronica, Ambient, EBM, Industrial or Sythopop these days. =D I enjoy dancing like an idiot to all of the above, or to the point where my hips ache and I black out or whatnot. xD ART. Moshing wit the local Santa Cruz scene also makes for a happy Sasha. Leftover bruises though...don't. ;-; I've gotten over my 'artists' block' at the moment, thanks to Art classes at me high school. Yaaay.

Books:

I like mystery, romance, historical fiction, sci-fi, fantasy....etc I swear..leave me with a good book, and I'll read it and run into a wall while doing so..^.^;;;
The Abarat series...my old love. The pictures are so deliciously disturbing... I cannot for the life of me find the first book in book stores anywhere, and have not heard about the fate of the third book, which I so utterly crave.
Of course...Harry Potter.
As I finished the last book, a part of me died at the end... For, it is the end of a great childhood wonder, a great love affair that had made relearning English worth it, the end of something I could cling onto...
Scar Tissue-I got this book one Christmas from Colin, and I love it so. Its the autobiography on Anthony Kiedis of the Red Hot Chil Peppers..the first hour I had it...I was hugging it...and then I started reading it and was instantly hooked...*nods madly*
Shibboleth-By Penny Rimbaud, the former drummer of Crass. It's an amazing book, and has made me really reconsider the connection between pacifism and anarchism, as well as the idea and way of accomplishing revolution.
Stranger in a Strange Land- A sci-fi cult classic, a weeee bit dated and sexist, but I loved it. =DDD
