3 Finger Fishn'

History

In a summer league in 2003 the team known as 3 Finger Fishn' was formed. Eric, Tom, Steve, and John joined together on a three man team. They rotated a man in and out every week that summer. That's how they're bowling addiction started. {They would continue to bowl without break until the summer of 2006.} After summer league was over they were looking for a bowling house closer to home, so the drunken nights would not get them into trouble.3 Finger Fishn' found a small ten lane house for five man teams. They picked up Mikies, a friend of Steve, who would prove to good fit. The small house was not sofisticated enough to have a computer system, so scoring was done manually. We were definitley the outsiders here. It took us a while to warm ourselves into the league. We had fun. Nights were usually drunken blurs and gambling frenzies. We were now bowlers!Enough of the small house, keep score yourself bullshit! We took the team to a larger house in town. Still with that old school feel, we knew it was all good. With complication with the Mikies we traded him out with Ted. Ted was much better than all of us, making the rest of us better bowlers. Ted couldn't fullfill his whole season obligation, but in turn brought in Jeff. Jeff was an even better bowler. He made us a better team. The summer after that season we all wanted to take a break. Jonny Ball Game wanted to keep bowling. A problem arose when JBG went on the be a private eye. The rest of us were stuck and bitter. Even though JBG was a founding member, he was not asked to continue on the team. We then went to free angency and picked up Matt. Matt was a good fit on the team. We also picked up Ted again, and had a stong year on the lanes. Then towards the end of the season 3 Finger Fishn' got a blow. Steve was relocating to the desert. The future of the team was unknown. Would it continue?Fuck in A right it would. But, it almost didn't. We didn't obligate ourselves to the same house, so we didn't have a home. An opportunity came up with a league close to Eric and Tom's work. Matt was asked to come aboard, but couldn't due to time and travel. This is where Dave and Hans enter the picture. These two had been on different teams in a league in the new house for a couple of years. It just so happened that Eric, Tom, Dave, and Hans all work together. So, the next logical move was to bring Dave and Hans on board. That brings us to now!3 Finger Fishn' would like to thank Mike, John, Jeff, Ted, Matt, and Steve on there years of service and wish them luck on there future bowling journey.
