I am so in love it hurts. He's somewhere between Tom Sawyer and James Dean and Mowgli and a Leprachaun and if I don't try to explain how much I love him I might explode. Without him the farms and the songs don't count and the autumn evenings don't even matter. He's my other half and the man of the dreams I never knew I could have. One day if you hear me on the radio or see me on stage, know that he is the reason it all became possible in the first place. I've had a cold for 24 years and he is my chicken soup. Guava.Other than my one and only Cool Hand Luke I do have several other interests. Farming, line dancing, and singing country music makes my perfect day.... I like waking up before sunrise better than staying up till morning.... All I want right now is a truck and an open road and a reason to go West.... And the funding to do it..... I like people who are always clear and who are honest. I don't know how to be any other way..... I love country music because the right tunes are a Code that reminds my why I do what I do every single second of each day ...........Once I’ve gotten my truck and gone West I’m going to six-shoot and bootscoot and high-faloot my way to their city. Once I’ve helped countrify L.A., made enough money to live on, and redistributed the rest of the profits back to Capital Hill Incorporation and anyone else in my Hudson Valley home who needs it, I’ll move incognito to a small ranch, probably on the Mexican border. (Although I'll keep a small apple orchard/maple syrup outfit here at home to always come back to). ............At the ranch I’ll cultivate avocados and cilantro and a variety of hot peppers, as well as tend to an olive grove. I’ll spend my time with my horses, sheep, cows and my many goats. I will also have bee hives. I would like to be far enough away from my neighbors that if I want to flamenco dance on my front porch or Canadian stomp in the pumpkin patch I can do so without them watching. But I would like them to be close enough that if they are being attacked by wild boars I can rescue them because their wailing will be in earshot.I will fish and hunt whenever I want. I would like to hunt wild boar and cure my own boar-bacon .............I’ll have a fire pit in the middle of the Great Hall of the Great House. I think the Great Hall will take up almost the entire house. I will make the sofas at the small Great House out of leather I’ve tanned from my slaughtered cows, and I’ll sit on the sofas while I eat the other half of the bovine sacrifice, extremely rare, with rock salt, and a big jug of red wine, using knives that have deer antler handles for the meat, and mason jars for the wine, occasionally stoking the big fire in the fire pit with blacksmithing tools just for fun ..............Around the Great Hall will be rooms divided by screen walls so I can change them whenever I want. The basement will have studios for artforms which don’t even exist yet .............The kitchen will be half outside so I can grow everything I need to cook with inside of my kitchen. I would also like trees inside of my kitchen so I can hang my pots and pans and red-and-white-checked dish towels on them ............The shower will be outside, too ...........Outside it will smell like tumbleweeds and it will sound like expensive watercolors and I will look at an etch-a-sketch skyline that makes me remember that I can never forget The Important Things ........... I mean all of this with a ferocity you wouldn’t believe ............I love Ellie May Clampett and I love Cesar Chavez and I love Willie Nelson and I love Wal-Mart .........And that’s all I have to say “About Me”.?????..........http://www.amylawdayproductions.com/HTK finalcompress.mov.........?????
