Daniel Nitsch on UMP3.de !!!In 1997, Daniel Nitsch began organising major events in the field of crossover/hip hop/big beat. Being open minded to all kinds of music finally lead him to electronic sounds. In 2001, he and Christian Gleinser founded a project called voltage musique, which got signed in the very same year by the well-known label Pocketgame Records. Their first release, Nitsch&Gleinser Voltage EP (including a Norhern Lite Remix) appeared in the playlists of DJ Hell, Mike Wills, Steril, and many more. In June 2002, the NEOPOP compilation 2 was published on 1stDecadeRecords, where Nitsch&Gleinser suddenly found themselves among artists like Felix da Housecat, Ural 13 Diktators, Kiko, Miss Kittin, John Starlight, and many more. In January 2003, the album Weird Visions by Nitsch&Gleinser was completed. A first track taken from the album was released on their own label VMR, which is run by Daniel Nitsch, Stefan Schuldt, and Andreas Henneberg. The second track taken from the album was released on a Pocketgame sampler called Bonus Level 1 North & South. (The track and the video are available on www.pocketgame.de) Also, Savas Pascalidis discovered the both for his label Lasergun Records. Therefore, in November 2003, the EP Time Control was released, containing four songs by Nitsch&Gleinser, which were found in playlists of oldschool heroes like Mark Moore (S-Express). And of course, they keep on working hard: in 2004 remixes to the Bronski Beats Smalltownboy, Superbrills Diverte, and Popcatz "Strobelight&Makeup" have been released. And in May 2005, Nitsch&Gleinser released their Rollbots EP on Karateklub (WordAnd Sound), including remixes by the Polygamy Boys (Bunker / Goodlife Rec.) and Dapayk.
