On august, 2005; Pepe Garcia and Akira Honda decide to form a band of electro music with strong influences of 80’s music in Mexico City, turning out to be the suitable place to begin Hi-NRG project.By november of 2005 Mayumi Toyoda joins as vocalist of the project, experienced singer whose voice seemed to have born for the above mentioned genre, and together three began to compose nostalgic melodies for the new millenium; in March, 2006 the group was completed when Oscar Landa, drummer, joins the talented trio.The name of "Sweet Suite" was in a beginning a game of words, to turn later in synonymous of the sweet melodies (sweet) and the powerful beats who inhabit the minds of the composers (suite). The Sweet Suite's first demo was recorded in Pepe's domestic study, giving to the public a sample of the big things that were for coming, being prepared by determination in the rehearsals their first live shows.In June, 2006 the quartet obtained the first results on having played in different bars of the city of Mexico, receiving a great response on the part of the public who every time was increasing.In October, 2006, the band receives more offers to appear in different places and events, which leads the group to consider the opportune moment to begin the search of a record label.NOTE: The musicians of Sweet Suite are young professional people who have taken part in diverse bands, some of them of national and international recognition, with minimal experience of 15 years on stages and the music business.
En agosto del 2005 Pepe García y Akira Honda deciden formar una banda de música electro con fuertes influencias de los 80’s, en la ciudad de México, resultando ser el lugar idóneo para comenzar un proyecto de Hi-NRG.Para noviembre del 2005 se incorpora Mayumi Toyoda como vocalista del proyecto, experimentada cantante cuya voz parecía haber nacido para dicho género, y juntos los tres comenzaron a componer nostálgicas melodías para el nuevo milenio; en marzo del 2006 el grupo fue completado cuando Oscar Landa, baterista, se une al talentoso trío.El nombre de “Sweet Suite” fue en un principio un juego de palabras, para convertirse después en sinónimo de las dulces melodías (sweet) y los poderosos beats que habitan en las mentes de los compositores (suite). El primer demo de Sweet Suite fue grabado en el estudio casero de Pepe, dando al público una muestra de las grandes cosas que estaban por venir, preparándose con ahínco en los ensayos para sus primeros shows en vivo.En Junio del 2006 el cuarteto obtuvo los primeros resultados al tocar en distintos bares de la ciudad de México, recibiendo una gran respuesta por parte del público que cada vez se incrementaba.Octubre del 2006, la banda recibe más ofertas para presentarse en diferentes lugares y eventos, lo que lleva al grupo a considerar el momento oportuno para comenzar la búsqueda de disquera.Nota: Los músicos de Sweet Suite son jóvenes profesionales, que han participado en diversas bandas, algunas de ellas de reconocimiento nacional e internacional, con experiencia mínima de 15 años en los escenarios y el negocio de la música.
