Welcome!

About Me

I'm a ukulele mad solo artist and bass player living by the sea in the northwest. I play double bass with folk band Striding Edge , and I also play with Jazz and Ska bands from time to time.
BETTER THAN THE MAN is a work in progress, it was written and recorded from about 10pm Tues 14th to 6 am Wed 15th November 2006... I love the chord sequence and I love the bass line, so now I am under massive pressure to write the best lyrics and melody I can!!!
LITTLE BY LITTLE was recorded Monday 28th August 2006, it features an old recording of my daughter when she was 3.
This tune breaks new ground for me in two ways....

1) it's the first with Spanish words - there will more!
2) it's the first song I've played live before recording it.
YOU MAKE ME was written and recorded in the wee hours over the course of the first week of April 06. I had lots of fun playing the congas and other percussion instruments......
MISSING YOU is an infectious little beast of a tune!!! Sorry if it gets stuck in your head!!! it was written and recorded over a few days late November 2005
Oh yeah, the main instrument on these recordings is my Ukulele i got in Hawaii. I love it! HOPE YOU ENJOY!
