My name is Chad, and I don't know where to begin. I like to create things, you could say. Whether it's a construction-paper cell for a crappy animated movie, writing bs stories to entertain the "wtf style comedy" crowd, writing psuedo-screenplays, or just playing one of the many video games in my collection, I'm still doing something (somewhat) constructive. I keep tabs on the video game industry, and used to run a digital gaming magazine , which may be brought back someday. It started as a little repair service my friends and I used to do; just going around fixing video game systems, from Atari to Dreamcast, we did it all! I can still fix just about anything, console or portable, except for the new generation stuff, so if you need help fixing a game or system, want to know some trivia or cheat codes about old or rare games, or just want to know what's current in the industry, hit me up.In the last few years, I've been getting more and more into film. I haven't had the resources to do many things, but I have a few productions under my belt, and one that I can even partially be proud of. I've studied film independently, and I have learned quite a bit about different camera systems and filming techniques in order to capture the one thing that's most important in the movies: getting the audience involved, and getting the right emotion across to them. It doesn't rely on how well a person can act or even if the lines are written well...a good director can take anything and make it great by using the right techniques.I also write stupid little stories that people tell me are good, but I just see them as hilariously whacked up. I usually write them when I'm more than half asleep, so I end up writing some pretty messed up stuff there... but it's also pretty funny. One of my "major" ones is Onik, which I host on a profile I made specifically for it. If you're really interested, ask me how to find it. The story's a bit too... stretched to put on my profile here. The film "group" has spawned a YouTube.com Directorship , where the (not on) tv show, That One Show, will be publicly released, as well as our full-length animated movie, I Know What You Did Last Winter . In March 07 I bought my own website for it all, www.TheLostMD.com , where you can find sections for video game news, reviews, Zero Revival's official place on the web, and film mini-sites. I'm still building the site, so there's a LOT missing, but the flash section is all there, and best of all, I forgot how to input META tags on a page, so lucky for many, you can access it from work or school, or other places that block sites. I also made a 'Winter' MySpace profile , and our own MySpace Music profile , where we share exclusive tracks from the soundtracks to our films.

So yeah, that's the long and short of what is "me." I also would like to mention that I am an Eagle Scout, I love my Super Nintendo, and I have hopes to attend California State University: Long Beach sometime in the next 5 years, with a double major in film and journalism, and a minor in Japanese. This summer is a different story, though, and the rest of 2007 is pretty much all about living and money.

My Interests

I like a lot of things. A lot of random things. One of my biggest things is the video game industry, which keeps me thinking and is mostly responsible for my fascination of film and techniques. But I like a LOT of random things that most people like me might not even be concerned with, and I think my music playlist below sums it pretty nicely.

I'd like to meet:

Satoru Iwata, Rumiko Takahashi, Trey Parker and Matt Stone, and anyone interested in helping out with ZRP or TLMD, or just people interested in classic gaming and stuff. You can catch me in the Games Chat here on myspace late-night pretty often. I can't sleep, and I have no reason to leave the house at 1am, so that's where I go. Heh, that's where this whole "Avalanche Rebel" thing started.

Music:

I like a lot of Jrock/jpunk stuff. it just drives well. There are also those moments where I will like those catchy jpop tunes like those from DoCo and several opening/ending songs from shows like Inuyasha. I also have a taste for driving rock and metal, as my annual Halloween escapades will show... but my tastes tend to be random, as you can tell by the list here...Everything here is good in a sense, but there are a LOT of things I can't stand for too long, like country, or Brian's favorite "chain hang low" crap that's brainwashing kids. I have roughly 200 tracks on this list here, so listen through the whole thing if you like, only a few are crappy.NOTE: FFVII and Advent Children tracks are at the end of the list.__

Movies:

This can be a tough one. Many films have good points and are directed well, but over the move to Pomeroy, I watched quite a few movies, and on more than half of them, I was just thinking "You'd get a whole better range of emotion from the viewers if you'd move the damn camera over THERE!" Which makes me want to venture into live action even more, because it is SO much easier to get your desired result from the audience when you can film it several different ways, and in animation, especially the time-consuming crap animation I do, you only get one shot, and it's mostly the shots like "eh, no one will notice that the frame shows part of the desk I took the shot on" or "eh, it's too damn tough to re-construct an entire set and lip-sync to have it the way it was in storyboard, but who cares." Some free help would be pretty nice, though.

Television:

....

Me in a nut-shell, 6 days a week:

(The whole 'half asleep, eating a napkin' thing, not the whole 'turn into a girl when splashed with cold water' thing...yeah...*cough*)I like a bunch of tv shows, most notably That 70s Show, and a few other staples like Family Guy, South Park. Then there's the others...namely anime. My favorite has to be Detective Conan. Big fan of that. Not the butchered English version they made a few years ago here... The second runner up would be the entire Ranma 1/2 series, just for it's sheer classic-ness and it's great story...although the manga was WAY better...and there's other shows like Ichigo 100% and classic Dragon Ball. Early Inuyasha was good, but once he started to like Kagome, it kind of killed the whole "he's gonna f'in kill her!" selling point it had on me, haha. There really are too many good shows out there, though.

Books:

The few stories I write are pretty good, so some people say, but the best one I'm writing is a non-public release, as I hope to turn it into a film, but I figured it'd be best to write it out in a psuedo-screenplay style, so it can be used for future reference. I would need a LOT of help in making this movie, so if you live nearby, go ahead and ask about it.

Heroes:

Carlos Mencia and G.I. Joe go well in this category, but I'd have to say that one of my heroes would have to be Barry from Resident Evil, because when you play as Jill, there's a scene where Jill gets stuck in this room where the ceiling's gonna crush her, and Barry plays the "hero" and shoots the lock off the door to let Jill out. Oh, and we can't forget the kid from the Power Glove commercial, and the one from The Wizard... "I love the power glove. It's so bad."Ass Fuckem's PokéSlave
