I want to know Christ....

About Me

I'm a youth minister in Lexington, Kentucky. I love it here and I have an awesome group of youth and a great church! I love Jesus with all my heart and I desire to serve Him with every ounce of my being.I play guitar and sing, do outdoor activities and play sports. I also like to make man smells and such to annoy my wife, whom I love incredibly much.I have a cat that named Jax that I used to propose to Erin with. I knew that it would help my chances because she wanted a cat so badly! PUT YOUR ABOUT ME SECTION HERE! Changes may take up to 2 mins to show on your profile

My Interests

I'm now married....but here's how I proposed!!! I first had her go all around town following clues that I left on roses placed at various locations. It led to my house where I had made a meal with candles and everything. At the end of the meal I went downstairs and got a kitty I had bought her. I proposed by putting the ring on the collar of the cat (now named Jax)!!

I'd like to meet:

Leonardo and Michaelangelo (both the painters and the turtles)! I'd also like to meet the members of the David Crowder Band (even though I have a little bit). Other than that I look forward to the day when I get to meet Jesus face to face! PUT YOUR I'D LIKE TO MEET SECTION HERE! Music:

I'm an ecclectic (I like almost any music) but my favorite stuff to listen to is stuff like Hawk Nelson, Yellowcard, Dashboard Confessionals, Switchfoot, and also praise music such as David Crowder, Chris Tomlin, and Shane and Shane.

Movies:

I also like a variety of movies. Even though I don't like to tell my wife, I don't mind watching chick flicks (just don't tell her or that'll be all we watch). My favorite movies are the Epic movies that all guys love (Braveheart, Gladiator) or almost any feel good true life stories, especially sports (Rudy, Remember the Titans).

Television:

Survivor, The Office, CSI (the original), Sportscenter, and Husker Football (not this year though!). I also love old classics like The Cosby Show and McGuyver.

Books:

BIBLE! The last significant non-biblical book I've read was "House" by Frank Paretti and Ted Dekkar. My wife talked me into reading it. I also like the book "The Rest of the Story" by Paul Harvey!

Heroes:

My parents, Scott Beckenhauer, and my wife. She inspires me by the desire in her life to become what God wants her to be.
