Breathing deeply,
She stepped on the moist lawn to capture the magic of the dew upon her skin.
The radiant moment of the blissful encounter did not explode;
in contrast, it simmered beneath the surface with dreams to become much larger in the days to come.
She recalled her power like yesterday’s daydream on the couch when she closed her eyes for just a mere moment and once again realized just who she was:
A woman with intent.
A woman who cradled joy like a fragile piece of art that slowly becomes a being welcoming a hearty hug.
The dew lingered before it evaporated into her dreams.
The sun sparkled.
The trees swayed in a dance of agreement.
And, the child smiled broadly in understanding.
