Some call me shawti C. Really I am just Chris. I've been involved with music as far back as I can remember. I started performing around the age of nine in front of chuuurch! I knew this is what I wanted to do for life.A lot of people want to do this and do that, but I know . There hasn't been a doubt in my mind. I am currently involved with a few projects. I am a founding member of Southsidesyde, a local known emcee crew and group. I am also a founding member of Diasporic, an insane group of musicians swinging in all kinds of realms in the multiverse. I am a member of the new up and coming Anti-Gravity 09 . I also participate in a soul group named Soulace as a back round vocalist. I occasionally am a backup vocalist for Big Cheif Kevin Goodman and The Flaming Arrows Madi Gras Tribe. I was blessed in the past few years to be ale to travel and share the stage with some of my elders and ultra talented peers. I'd have to say two of those occasions I will never forget. I was blessed to open for Sun Ra Arkestra featuring some of my poetry. I had the most humble privilege to share the same venue and evening with the legendary George Clinton and Parliment Funkadelic with Diasporic. I have been blessed to work with many talented artist through out Austin and surrounding areas. I look forward to a long life being able to travel and do what I love. So, I hope you enjoy what you hear here on this profile page. I know some of it is rough, yet they are to me times where I was glad some type of recording device was around.
