Fellow dancers. This is mostly for me to keep up with the friends I don't get to see that often...
Anything I can shake my bootie to is great since I dance at all times regardless of whether it's appropriate or not.
Absolute favorites are musicals. Fan of foreign films; quirky French films are fabulous like Amelie and Happenstance are great. I am a fan of dark humor too: Love me if you Dare in French and The Nine Queens in Spanish.
I watch a lot of Food Network & Bravo. Favorite right now Top Chef!
Amy Tan, Colette, John Grisham, Indu Sundaresan, Federico Garcia Lorca, Maya Angelou, Henri Lefebvre, Isabel Allende, and Gabriel Garcia Marquez are amoungst my favorites. I like fiction based on historical figures and that challenge "solid" beliefs like Anita Diamant's The Red Tent and Dan Brown's The DaVinci Code. Lorca and Angelou's poetry is wonderful along with Nicholas Guillen and Jose Marti. Spanish Lit and French Lit major so I love to read a little bit of everything.
