Baseball, reading, video games, old-timey music, staring, thinking, talking out of my ass, putting my foot in my mouth, life in general and you... probably.
Just people that will respect and appreciate how strange and extremely nerdy I am.I would also love to meet Sarah Vowell. Badly! Here are my Nintendo friend codes if you really want to geek out. Wii:0348 0208 1093 2110DS:0124 9418 9366 5000
Bob Wills and his Texas Playboys, Waylon Jennings, Elvis Presley, The Stooges, Ryan Adams, Django Reinhardt, The Rolling Stones, Will Oldham, The Fall, Gene Autry, Hank Williams, Guided By Voices, Luna, The Smiths, Oasis, Paul McCartney, Pavement, Paul Westerberg, Ride, Roxy Music, Solomon Burke, Tom Waits, Van Halen and whatever...
I have the dumbest DVD collection ever. You'll get Iron Eagle and On the Waterfront, every episode of Pee Wee's Playhouse and Monty Python, a whole gaggle of depression-era musicals, Hilary Duff movies, The Lord of the Rings, every Fred and Ginger movie, Smokey and the Bandit, those Clint Eastwood movies with Clyde the orangutan and anything esle in between.
I do have to watch Meet the Press and 60 Minutes every Sunday. Otherwise I don't watch television too often. But my favorites that I watch on DVD are: What's Happening, Dallas (best show ever!), The Twilight Zone (second best show ever!), The Simpsons, Six Feet Under, Sienfeld, Cheers, News Radio, Smallville, Miami Vice and Roseanne.
I mainly read non-fiction. If you are unfortunate enough see me on the bus then chances are I am hunched over some volume on some extremely creepy aspect of 20th century history that no one except me and some guy in Boise gives two shits about. Currently a history of the Third Reich in power from 1933-1939.
