b.a.m. audio

I produce sample based music in my spare time for fun. That is what I have posted up on my home page. I'm using a PC with various software packages and some nice mics and mic preamps to make and capture sound. I also play Drums and Guitar. My goal is to produce my own record ala Lenny Kravitz, Prince, Dave Grohl style and play all the instuments myself. With a little sampling thrown in for flavor. I play drums much more than guitar these days. One of the bands I'm in is a 70's, 80's 90's rock cover band. We play some typical rock classics and some different stuff. We don't take it real serious, we just have a good time with it. I'm studing drums in a jazz ensemble right now at the community college downtown. It's definitely challenging, but I have learned a lot. I am also trying to get a project together with a couple of friends. The few times we have played together it has sounded very cool. We got a flute/sax player, guitarist, bass, drums and sometimes a cello(Sarah). The equipment I'm using right now is: Drums - DW manufatured in 1996 Emerald Green Satin Oil Finish w/brass hardware. 2 toms, 1 kick. DW hardware. Ziljian Cymbals - 20" ping ride, 22" Medium K custom Ride, 16" & 17" A custom crashes, 18" Z medium, 14" mastersound A hi-hats, 14" bastardized pair that sounds cool. Guitars - '79 Strat, 70 something Goldtop Les Paul, 97 Hamer Archtop, 98 telecaster, p.o.s. acoustic. I usually try and get into as many musical situations as possible.
