Dusty Sharp - Lead Vocals, Rhythm Guitar, Harmonica, Mandolin
Dusty, "the party boy", grew up (not quietly) in Merriam, Kansas. He later moved to Basehor, Kansas in 1996 where he met up with band mate Dave Zugelder. Immediately the two became good friends. Dusty sang in choir to impress the ladies all through his High School years. After graduation the two started up a band called County Road 5. Dusty was determined to learn the guitar, harmonica and mandolin; he has done quite well over the last several years. Dusty has grown confident in his abilities of becoming a great performer and becomes better every passing show! Dusty likes being a beach bum, kayaking, fishing, hunting, and of course...partying! Dusty’s influences include Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson, and anything "Red Dirt".
David Zugelder - Lead & Rhythm Guitar, Vocals
Dave grew up in Kansas City, KS and then later moved to the country roads of Basehor, Kansas. He met Dusty in 1996 and became instant companions. Dave picked up his first guitar at the ripe young age of 10. He has since played just about every instrument all through out his school years. Dave is very passionate about music. He has been writing his own music for the past 5 years including the original songs from County Road 5's debut album. Dave grew up watchin the talents of Stevie Ray Vaughn, Eric Clapton, Eagles, Jimi Hendrix, Brad Paisley and Pantera (Hair Bands Rule!!!)
Wade Buchanan - Bass Guitar, Vocals
Wade is from the sticks of Ellsworth, Kansas. In 1995 he packed up and headed to the big city lights of Nashville. There he lived modestly in the backseat of his Monte Carlo while playing on a TV show called Nashville Star Seek. While jammin with other bands Wade soon met up with the guys of County Road 5. Wade started pickin the bass in 1990 and has faithfully been rockin out ever since. Wade joined the band in July 2005. "The Dude" is mostly influenced by the talents of John Myung, Tommy Shannon, Geddy Lee and Billy Sheehan.
Kellan Moore – Drums/Percussion
Kellan brings nearly 10 years experience and a bit of youthful intensity to the mix. His experience includes: 5 years of private lessons, high school Jazz Band, many gigs at local coffee houses, the Bottleneck in Lawrence, as well as sitting in with area blues bands, including Fresh Brew, at many KC blues jams. Kellan does more than just “keep timeâ€, his expansive variety of influences (too numerous to mention) and dynamic approach to drumming are a great compliment to the band. He also attended Boston’s Berkley School Of Music in June 2004. Kellan joined an national touring band in 2005-2006, (Paradise City: Guns N’ Roses tribute), where he has played big clubs and performed in front of large audiences in many different states. Kellan has also been interviewed for newspaper articles. He continues to push this band to the edge…
