Troll in trouble! Life is short, but not short enough!

About Me

Kind of a weird crazy guy... funny though! Don't know... you'd have to meet me, I can't describe myself that easily :) I'm just me... Which is pretty good or either pretty bad. Not sure, you'll have to tell me ;) Feel free to ask whatever you want to know... ------------But well, I guess it's time to say some more about this human I am. Well, as you can see, I'm 22 years old... I've lived most of my life in Oaxaca, but now I'm studying in Mexico city (where my parents are from)... There were 3 years of crazyness in which I didn't not accomplish much actually, but I got nice experiences. The better obviously was to go to Europe. Amazing time in there! A trauma for life living so far! Then I started and dropped out from 2 careers in Guadalajara, the first one (that sucked like hell) to become a french teacher. Cool few friends, lots of angryness and frustration. Then I decided to try for the UNAM (which was the original idea a year and a half before, but I didn't even made the selection test out of fear), and while I got to know if I was accepted, I started Hispanic Letters, which was kinda nice (better than the first one for sure) but still not my thing. There I got more cool friends but unfortunately and happily at the same time they did accept me in the UNAM (that was quite a lot of stress actually, only 12 people accepted out of 140, lucky lucky me)... so that meant moving away from the life I had got used to. I lived alone and that totally rocked! And it was a hard separation of one person specially... that actually determined me moving a month before I had to do it... Being in love... scary thing! I've been there 2 times in my life and it has been a great thing, with a really hurtful ending... Anyhooww... that's how I ended up in here. This city is really beautiful and astonishing... If it only had like a 90% less population it would be the greatest place to live in... kind of... Europe still kicks its ass in many ways haha.----------- What else can I say?... Hmmm... well, it's been a while since I live for music... Actually it is litteraly what keeps me alive. Concerts are an important part of my life, and it's just so great to meet the musicians who make the music you love! Well... sometimes you discover they're not what you thought, but well, you can't like everyone. I've already met my favorite bands and they being so cool people made me like 'em even more. Someday I hope I can make music by my own, and have a nice band. But that's actually harder than I thought at the beginning, so now I just play the drums for myself. I wish I had started doing it sooner, but I tend to discover things about me when it's kind of a little too late... Now I'd give my soul to learn how to play violin, guitar and piano at least, for if it was possible I'd play every existing instrument... The same happens to me with languages, I expect to speak at least 10 before being 28 years old. For now I speak Spanish, English and French. I started Catalan, German and Swedish, but I've already forgotten the little I learned. Now, with my career (Clasical Letters) I'm learning Ancient Greek and Latin. And they really blow my brains out and some times they're to hard for me to get, but I love em. Specially Latin. It's been a dream of mine since a long time ago...----------------------Something else I might add... I hated all my schooling till highschool, and being in private schools (not all the time, but it too long anyway) really determined most of the crudity of my thoughts about humanity. Not much hope in it, as you might notice haha. But it's made great stuff, that's for sure. Stuff I'd love I had been part of. Anyway, changing from public school to private (not because I wanted to but thanks to my 4th grade teacher leaving a week after the year started) really let me see a whole new perspective of things, it opened my eyes to a cruel reallity... Anyway, it's part of what made me who I am now, and though I have not fulfilled many of my dreams, others have happened and I've done a few things I can be proud of. I'll just never know how it would have been otherwise for there's nothing I can change now... So now I'm enjoying all that's possible and breaking my ass to get done with my career and accomplish some other stuff. We'll see how it goes ;D ----------------------------------------------Some Oddworld life philosophy I like: ------------------------------------------ * You are who you eat * A little hard work never killed anyone important * Don't play with your food unless it plays with you first * Work hard, die young, win valuable prizes! (That's all I remember, more philosophy coming next time I play the game)

My Interests

Music, concerts, reading, playing drums, learning languages (common ones and others that almost no-one speaks), traveling, nature, drawing from time to time, taking pictures, meeting interesting people, walking around the city... and partying! (from time to time, not too much right now) ..-----

I'd like to meet:

Many many great musicians! No way to get started with that... But if it's about someone who really shocks me besides admiring him/her I'd like to meet Anna Varney from Sopor Aeternus... About actors and such, I'd love meeting Milla Jovovich :) I love that woman! Johnny Depp, Cate Blanchett, Jack Nicholson, Anthony Hopkins, Tyra Banks, Tim Burton, maybe even that Shia LaBeouf guy (one of the few young good actors I like)... Hmmm... Danny Elfman would be an interesting person to meet too, he makes just so wonderful music for the films... ------------------------------------------------------------ --------------------------- And of course there's a lot of regular human beings I'd like to meet. Not necessarily with the same likings as me. I prefer diversity. It's frequent that I have friends who kinda hate one another... -----..----------------------------------------------------- ---------------Bands I've already got to know: After Forever, Ataraxia, Nightwish, Hammerfall, Epica, Corvus Corax/Tanzwut/KDA, Diet of Worms, Haggard, Trail of Tears, London After Midnight, The Gathering, Rata Blanca, Sirenia, Susperia, Therion, Elis, Krypteria, Finntroll, To Die For and Within Temptation :D.

Music:

Lots of metal and rock... many different bands. Among my favorites are After Forever, Ataraxia, Finntroll, Tanzwut, Sopor Aeternus, Nightwish, L'âme immortelle... Lots and lots of folk metal now a days, the same as electrodark music. And well, besides metal I like Classical music (in concerts most of all 'cos recordings are not so impressive for me), Rennaissance music, opera, new age, eightie's music and some good rock-pop bands like The Cranberries. Crazy thing: I love Aqua! XD I definitely hate the grupera music and reggaeton (things people in this country love... I wouldn't say it's music actually... But everyone has some nasty habits :P I let them be). ..--- *LAST ALBUM I GOT* --- Qntal III - L'Âme Immortelle's "Namenlos" - Ozzfest's 10 years aniversary DVD - August Rush soundtrack - Dover's compilation album, with the crazy remixes and all. No matter what people says, they still kick asses and I'm dying to see them live :) - Eluveitie's "Slania" (Fucking great album! Great folk melodies perfectly mixed with brainblowing metal :D)--------------- *CONCERTS 2008* --- Tarja Turunen (Damn, that woman has improved a lot! Awesome musicians!) - - - Avantasia (Great concert, but too much focused on the new stuff u.u) - - - Nightwish (A far better show than I could have expected. Really cool :D The Poet and the Pendulum kicks ass!) - - - Within Temptation (Simply fucking amazing concert! Sharon and the guys do rock!) - - - And One (great long concert with my eyes rotting, those guys were really fun and the dancing was pretty cool) - - - Mandragora's Fest (with Clan of Xymox, Lacrimas Profundere and To Die For. All those bands were awesome and the concert in the forest was great, but the organization sucked! Leave's Eyes and Atrocity didn't play even if they were already there... drama, technical problems and all that shit... Clan of Xymox rules!!!) - - - Iron Maiden in the Foro Sol (That fucking rocked! It's the biggest concert I've seen. Some great songs were missing, but it was awesome anyway :D)

Movies:

Lots of different films... funny films, some fantasy, animation, action... But my favorite of all times is Disney's "The sword in the stone"!!! Such a cool movie :D And "Alice in wonderland" is the second coolest movie ever, crazy crazy film... The Madhatter rules!!!:D "Meet the Robinsons" kicks ass too, it has a great excentric humor. "The Dark Crystal" and "Legend" are a couple of my favorite fantasy films. Puppets in those movies are simply amazing! Hallmark's "Merlin" rocks too :)-----**MOVIES I'VE WATCHED THIS MONTH** Nothing yet... probably nothing the whole month... damn school! And people!

Television:

Futurama, The Simpsons and South Park! They're the best ever!(Only the old seasons of the last 2... the new ones suck XP) Besides that, some other tv series like That 70's show, Complete Savages, Bones, Grey's Anatomy, Fairly Oddparents, Doctor House, Will & Grace... And now Avatar rules! Oh, and when my mind remembers, I love watching the Graham Norton show, that guy's cool, fun like hell! :D ... I miss Freakazoid like hell!!! -----

Books:

Not too much into one kind of books, but I love medieval subjects, nordic mythology (and mythology in general), historic novels... Hard to pick a favorite, but to name a couple there are: Edward Rutherford's "Sarum" and Maurice Druon's "Les rois maudits". And there are some really cool tales for kids :D I've written some, more or less good, myself ;)--------- *NOW READING* --------- Hesiodo "Los trabajos y los días", Stehepn R. Lowhead's "Arthur" (from the Pendragon Cicle) -----

Heroes:

Anyone who get's to live in Mexico city or some other crazy capital like that and doesn't go crazy... Haven't met anyone yet...Kung Fu Panda and Wall-E!!! Wilbur Robinson from "Meet the Robinsons" and Lilo from "Lilo and Stitch"
