The Absolute Call

I believe in agape, unconditionally.

About Me

What should I write about myself? I'm pretty much just me. Not much more than the stories people tell about me. I used to live in St. Louis. Now I live in the Los Angeles area. Lakewood for all of you locals. For the rest of you just call it LA. I like to go to the beach when time permits. Right now I'm just focusing on my M.A. Who knows what will happen after that. A few interesting things to note. One, my family means everything to me. Two, I'm head over heels in love with my girlfriend and her son and I'm so lucky to have them in my life.

My Interests

Surfing, Philosophy, Martial Arts, trying to find good new music that isn't cookie cutter music, Poetry (I'm a closet poet and I love the spoken word even though some would disagree regarding it's poetic merits), reading a good book, and thinking outside of the box. My hot girlfriend!! Dating a MILF is great... width="425" height="350" ..

I'd like to meet:

Someone who I know is there but doesn't feel like she's worth anything because another has treated her like dog meat. She knows who she is and she knows she means everything to me.

Music:

Oh so much.....

My girlfriend is Nostradamus reincarnate.  A year and a few months ago we're talking about March Madness and I'm showing her my bracketology.  (That's not all I show her either) and she tell...

Paper writing....

Is there any better music to write a paper to than the incomprable Thelonius Monk?  I think not!

And here's Phenomenology

This one's out for peer review by the infamous Mr. Chatman the Elder.  The title sucks and is going to be changed.   Feeding Phenomenology's Hermeneutic Needs ..:namespace prefix = o ns = "u...

A break from writing for a little inspiration

I LOVE this song.  It's Matisyahu's "Late Night In Zion".  I find his music so relaxing and soothing.  I won't post the whole thing or else no one will read it.  Here's my favorite...

I so don't know what to think right now.  As some of you know my girlfriend and I are kind of "taking things easy" right now.  It's such a weird position to be in.  On the one hand I co...

My paper on Lonergan and the problem of evil was accepted to the Gonzaga Philosophy conference for two weeks from now.  It's over 5000 words.  How do I get it down to a presentable time?&nbs...
