I like just about everything. Not a huge fan of jazz, but then again, I haven't heard a lot of it. From Audioslave and Foo Fighters to Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson and Patsy Cline. Throw in some Nat King Cole, Aretha Franklin, Edith Piaf and Etta James, the list goes on.
Huge movie fan, I think I've seen more movies than the average bear. I've been known to talk in movie quotes, that's always fun when no one else has seen the movie. I'd list them, but it would take too long, and no one really reads all this crap, anyway.
I'm definitely NOT one of those people who shuns television. I just can't say I have a lot of favorite shows. I'm obsessed with Lost, otherwise, not a lot more favorites. I loved Deadwood when it was on, and I still think it was one of, if not THE best series on television. I think I catch more of the HBO and Showtime shows, mainly because they run every 5 minutes. All day long. I caught some of In Treatment, and liked some of it, but they play it so freaking much I need treatment now. Well, maybe I always did, but that's neither here nor there.
No one is reading this crap anyway.
When I was younger, my nose was always buried in a book. Being an only child with not a lot of neighborhood kids helped :-P
I definitely don't read as much as I used to. I used to be able to engross myself in a book with the TV on, the radio, on and a marching band outside my window. The computer age has withered my attention span to that of a 3 year old. So, it's a bit more difficult now. I do have favorites.. Lord of the Rings, (the movies came pretty close to being as good) Once and Future King, I read it every year for a long time. Bourne Identity was a great book. I finished Love in the Time of Cholera recently. Loved the book. The movie sucked. I just picked up The Lovely Bones. Haven't started it yet, though.
Even though no one is reading this crap, I'm still writing it. Go figure
:-P
