Create your own Friend Quiz here Since this is mainly a website about wrestling I might aswell talk about wrestling somemore and give details on matches that I enjoy and wrestlers I love to watch! Firstly some of my favourite matches, these are only a select few that mean the most to me.... Triple H vs Cactus Jack {Royal Rumble 2000, Street Fight} 'This well and truley excelled Triple H to a main eventer and cast any doubts away that he could not cut it as a main event guy, Mick Foley was a class act in this match, because his career was winding down, yet he was still willing to make Triple H look good and if it was not for this match, Triple H might not have been where he is today' Chris Jericho vs Shawn Michaels {Wrestlemania 19} 'Blew me away the first time I watched it, and still does even after the numerous times I have seen the match, was great to see Shawn Michaels back at his best and I believe that it made be respect the business more' Eddy Guerrero vs Brock Lesnar {No Way Out 2004, WWE Championship Match} 'Not exactly a 5 star classic, although it was fun to watch, but it was the genuine emotion that was in the match, especially when Eddy won, if you can truely get emotion like that in a match then the people involved in it have accomplished what they set out to do and it is a night I will never forgot, more so now with the tragic events that unfolded on November 13th 2005. ' Bret Hart vs Stone Cold {Wrestlemania 13} 'Showcases the talent of both these superstars, and if there was ever a reason to induct Bret Hart into the Hall Of Fame as he has done, then this was as good a reason as any' Eddy Guerrero vs Rey Mysterio {wCw Halloween Havoc 1997} 'Yes I know it seems hard to believe, a good match actually coming from wCw but they do exist and this is one of them, Eddy and Rey at their best, sums up what a great wrestler Eddy actually was. Some of the things they did that night was never repeated and that is why it is so unique and it also proves that there are just some people who have an instinctive chemistry in the ring together.' Edge/Christian vs The Hardy Boyz vs The Dudley Boyz {Tables, Ladders & Chairs Summerslam 2000} 'One of my fondest memories, as this was when tag team wrestler was great, the Hardy Boyz were together and this was one of the best tag team bouts I have ever witnessed, proof that these 3 teams were great' Shawn Michaels vs Kurt Angle {Wrestlemania 21} 'Just thinking about this match gives me goosebumps, because it was a wrestling classic, and I found more appreciation for both men on this night, and it was very special for me. The combination of ground technical and high flying was fantastic and I have learnt so much myself from this match.' Triple H vs Stone Cold {No Way Out 2001, 2 out of 3 falls} 'Not long before Triple H gets sidelined with his injury, and this was evidence as the how much he was missed during his time out as this match was an example of what happens when guys as good as Triple H and Stone Cold get in the ring together' Triple H vs Chris Benoit vs Shawn Michaels {Wrestlemania 20, Triple Threa Match} 'The first of its kind at Wrestlemania, and so much better then the Fatal Four Way at Wrestlemania 16, because this brought the best out in all three superstars' Triple H vs Shawn Michaels {Hell In A Cell, Bad Blood 2004} 'The chemistry was there, the atmosphere was there, and it had wrestling classic written all over it, whenever these two get into the ring together, I know there is going to be a true wrestling match and this was the best match they had together.'Nigel McGuiness vs Doug Williams {1PW, British Masterclass} 'Was good because it was my first live show in which they had wrestled on, and really was a masterclass, recieved a great response in Britain, and with the Americans starting to be won over by British Wrestling, this would be one to show.'Triple H vs The Undertaker {Wrestlemania 17}'Triple H and The Undertaker are the best two wrestlers to ever come from the WWE, and when they stepped into the ring together, they blew the roof off the place, and I love watching this match, because although Triple H lost, The Undertaker admitted afterwards that the respect he didn't have for Triple H, that night he gained it, and when a legend such as The Undertaker pays a compliment like that you know it's special'Bret Hart vs Owen Hart {Steel Cage Match, Summerslam 1994} 'I look upon this match with mixed emotions because I know that we will never see either of them again in a ring to put on a classic such as this one, due to the tragic loss of Owen and the career ending injuries Bret has suffered. But this was a fantasic match and I loved every minute of it.'Ric Flair vs Terry Funk {I Quit, Clash of Champions IX} 'This match was what inspired Mick Foley and it has done the same to me in a lot of ways because Ric Flair and Terry Funk, really did show that they are two of the greatest the business has ever had to offer, the match would have been better had Terry Funk been allowed to act more heelish in the lead up, but it was still a 5 star classic.'Dave Taylor/William Regal vs The Hardy Boyz vs MNM vs Brian Kendrick/Paul London {Ladder Match, Armageddon 2006} 'This match had me up and down off my seat, never have I watched a match that had me so fired up, sure it was full of high spots but partnered with the Joey Mercury incident, it was one of the best if not the best ladder match I have had the pleasure of watching.'Also a list of the wrestlers who have inspired me the most..... Triple H - In my opinion the best wrestler that has every graced a ring, he is a natural heel, and his work rate in the ring is second to none, he takes alot of flak because people claim he is only on top because he is 'on top' of Stephanie at home, but that simply is not true, his ring work suggests otherwise. He knows how to make himself and the person he is working with look good, forget all the political bullshit, what I see in the ring makes me happy to say that he is my idol, he knows how to get the best out of people and that is very rare in the business now. Shawn Michaels - In the same mould as Triple H, one of the greates wrestlers ever, naturally good at selling, and has charisma to boot, has taken part in some of the greatest matches the industry has ever seen and will continue to do so for years to come. Eddy Guerrero - It is common knowledge of the tradgedy of Novemeber 13th 2005, but Eddy was always an idol of mine well before he passed on, I mention that because of the fact that people seem to say that he was great etc, because he has died, but that is not a reason to think he was a great wrestler, the truth is that I always thought he was great and his memory will always live on. Although the WWE have tried to drag his name through the mud at times, it is not possible with someone like Eddy Guerrero, he was a good man, and I still miss him, although I never knew the man personally, I did not even meet him, there is part of me that was taken away when Eddy passed on, and for feelings like that, it means that he had something special with his fans. What I wouldn't give to see that Lowrider one more time, to hear the loud cry of 'Viva La Raza', to see him soar through the air, I miss you Eddy, you will always live on through your fans! Mick Foley - Not the most well built wrestler, far from it, or the most techincally sound, but he does the things he can do, very well and because of that he is one of my favourite! The Undertaker - Things have been unsure recently with The Undertaker for me, because since his return he has not been the most fantastic, but I have watched alot of old matches with him in, and seen what he has done recently with some of the younger workers, and actually realised that he is a living legend (or a dead legend for Kayfabe), one of the best on the microphone, one of the best in the ring, and willing to put over younger talent.Terry Funk - Someone who I have recently started to love watching more and more. He is one of the most wily veterans in the wrestling world, he lives and breathes wrestling and was one of the best heels in the business. I strongy advise people to watch as much as they can of this man, because watching just one of his matches you can learn as much as following one guys entire career.Ric Flair - An inspired list would not be complete without Ric Flair. He'd bump, he'd sell, he'd cry, he'd do anything to make his opponent look good and he can have a good match with even the worst of workers, that is just the way Ric Flair is, and although he is way past his prime, I am honoured to say that I have seen him wrestle live on various occasions. These are just a select few that I am truely inspired by although there are others that deserve a special mention...Ted Dibiase, Bret Hart, Jake Roberts, Randy Savage, Dusty Rhodes, Kurt Angle, Chris Jericho.Gone But Not Forgotten....VIVA LA RAZA!
