About Me

I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4
A little bit about the mighty Rodzilla: I've been skateboarding for 31 years and I still don't wear pads. Although many offers were on the table I only have one sponsor- Caliskatz (the only shop in Fremont). I Breed American Bulldogs that are much more handsome and cooler than I will ever be. I used to be into photography but life kept getting in the way. I have pretty much passed the torch to my friend Juan Hector Smith. Not only teaching him everything i know (which isn't much) but giving him most of my gear. I just point and shoot these days and that's fine with me! check out my multitude of photos here on MySpace or www.rodzillaphoto.com for some visual love of yesteryear. I praise Jah daily. I Have the best wife and the coolest boy I've ever met. I am gainfully employed in this wonderful skateboard industry by ASF Distribution as well as Circle-A skateboards. I practice yoga in some form or another everyday but don't be fooled, i will punch you in your face if the situation calls for it. I guess you could say I am living the american dream- life is great bitches.
check the above video that put Caliskatz in first place at the "enter the dojo contest" -straight rippin son!
It's a known fact that San Ramon is one of my favorite places to skate- EVER! Heads can hate all they want, the place fuckin rocks!!!!!! Check the clips above for some Man Ramon love.

My Interests

CHECK OUT MY DOGS AT WWW.RODZILLASAMERICANBULLDOGS.COM

Hanging out with the family. Working on www.RODZILLAPHOTO.com and www.RODZILLASAMERICANBULLDOGS.com. Making love in a hate filled world. Watching every new skate video that comes out. Trying to figure out new ways to practice YOGA with knee, wrist, back and neck pain. Still pretending I know how to to shred.

I'd like to meet:

It would be nice to drink with Tim Mulgrew again, skate with Phil Shao and boof out with Bobby Wass again. Talking to the first Buddah a couple days after he became enlightened would've been nice. Talking with Johnny Cash when he was on pills then again a few months before he died. BUT none of that's going to happen on myspace.

Music:

My iPod is filled with all flavors-but lately I have been listening to the new Johnny Cash, Built to spill, Hank the 3rd, Jurassic 5, Sage Francis, Thom Yorke and Spearhead. Of course Nick Cave, Tom Waits, Krishna Das or The Smiths are always good at the end of the day. I will always have a soft spot in my heart for some good ol punk rock! Neutral Milk Hotel, Cat Power, Ted Nugent, Wilco, Iron Maiden, Willie Nelson, Patti Smith, Modest Mouse, Spoon, Arcade Fire, Andre Nickatina, Blackalicious, Sage Francis,Aesop Rock, Pavement, Atlas Sound,The Notorious B.I.G.,Stephen Malkmus, AC/DC, Jai Uttal,The Pogues,Burial, U-Roy, Joe Strummer & The Mescaleros, Radiohead, The Misfits, The Clash, The Jam, The Specials,Cymande, Cold War Kids, UFO, Two Gallants, Sonic Youth and on and on and on and on I could go.

Movies:

Born Into This ( A Bukowski Documentary that you should watch!), Cheese & Crackers is fucking insane ,Leaving Las Vegas, Pulp Fiction, American Beauty, Spinal Tap, Rushmore, zoolander, CB4, Bag of Suck, Blue Velvet, fast times etc..... too many to list

Television:

Ultimate Fighter 4, Reno 911, south park, Survivor, UFC and other MMA shit, any skate stuff on the tube (even though it's usually whack it's better than baseball). TV really can be mind Rotting (thank God)-listening to Howard Stern on Sirius is better than any shit on TV.

Books:

Bukowski or anything Yoga related- that may not make much sense to you. Anything by Joseph Campbell. The Yoga Sutras on the daily. Kurt Vonnegut is a good read.

Heroes:

Noel Sivazlian,Tony Pimental Hankie, Nick Cash, Johnny Cash, Artie Parente, Bob Wass, Steve, Calvin, Bentley and BDK.
