Guitar solos are back, so staaart practicin'!!

About Me

After 16 years of playing guitar, I suffered a tragic accident - losing the fingertip of my left ring finger while moving a log. This was to be only a minor setback. A month later, I was back at it, re-teaching myself on the 12-string acoustic I had gotten just weeks before the accident. (I named that guitar Desiree, by the way, because of my desire to play it during my month long recovery, in which I couldn't even touch it!) Countless hours of practice later, I have surpassed the level that I was at before I lost the fingertip, and actually am thankful that I lost it - the damn thing kept gettin' in the way! My upcoming album, "Through Loss and Recovery", was recorded in the past few years since my mother passed away in 2003. "One More", one of the last tracks on the CD is about the most amazing and beautiful thing I have ever experienced in my life, and yes it is a true story. The title track is one of two instrumentals on the album, the other being "Gray Skies In My Mind". Other songs include "Old Friends", "Better (Take My Heart)", "Staring At The Sky", "Memories Of You", and "Casey's Song", 12 songs in all. Coming soon! I've been doing some new recordings lately, and it seems that I'm in the mood to do some more instrumental stuff. I will be posting more new instrumentals soon so stay posted . . .
