Music is a medium: well done is rare... [read into it what you will]

About Me

I'm not From Bergen but I am International! Go check out Empire of the Sons for more!
I'm a military brat and product of DoDDs schools and moving all over the world. I spent 86 to 96 in England so I consider it to be my home. No I don't speak with a British accent; yes, I can speak with one for days but my true accent remains urmmm...American. [grin]. I'm fairly well educated, intelligent, ocassionally funny, and a bit cocky (but not arrogant - at least not anymore [grin]). Virgo's are known for being analytical...that's me. I manage IT computer and network infrastructures so the analytical thing works for me. LOL. The pocket protector and glasses don't apply - and any of my friends will tell you I'm a free spirit and fun to be around and talk to. In all fairness; I've been known to be impatient, picky, emotionally retarded =), selfish, and arrogant. Thankfully maturity has kicked in!
You are Batman Batman 85% Green Lantern 75% Superman 75% The Flash 70% Spider-Man 70% Hulk 65% Iron Man 45% Robin 30% You are dark, love gadgets
and have vowed to help the innocent
not suffer the pain you have endured.

My Interests

My son, my relationships (personal, professional, & otherwise), my goals, and doing whatever it takes to get where I want to be and stay spiritually grounded.

I'd like to meet:

Artists and other people in the music industry. I am currently working with several artists in addition to my own demo album [which is conceptually done]; and looking to meet people who aren't caught up in the industry hype. We have a positive message to be delivered regardless of the vehicle [music] it comes in and look for the same in other artists. Don't ask to be my friend if you can't support my dreams and goals.

My dreams would be to meet LL Cool J, Dr. Dre, Sean Combs, DMX, Jermaine Dupri, Shawn Carter, Russell Simmons, Mike Shinoda, and Will.I.Am: they're the smartest, most influencial people in recent past and present music. Of course I bow down to Interscope/Aftermath (Death Row put out good music thanks to Dre but Suge fux0red that one up), Rocafella, BBE, So So Def, and Def Jam Records - you guys paved the way for my idols and shaped me as I grew into a man.

Music:

I was a resident Club DJ for a few years (England, Germany, and Club West [now 535 Club] in Eureka, CA) so my music tastes are pretty eclectic. I like anything with a beat, there's something about all music that moves me. I like everything from R&B to garage/trance/trip-hop to hip hop to whatever I feel like listening to at the time. If I really dig a track I'll produce a remix. I live for music and movies. I just do IT work to give me the freedom to enjoy my passions.

Movies:

There are way too many good movies to list them all. The Color of Money, 8 Mile, Trainspotting, Electric Boogaloo, Star Wars, The Matrix, anything produced or directed by Joel Silver, Martin Scorscese, Steven Spielberg, Ang Lee (yes Brokeback was well directed - no I'm not into that lifestyle), Quentin Tarantino, Jerry Bruckenheimer, and Ron Howard. I could list favorite actors for days - I'm an extreme movie buff. Chances are you've seen it I've watched it.

Television:

TV's getting really played out. There are too many damn shows that are spinoffs and I'd rather hang out and listen to music or watch movies. I do watch TV (CSI:LV, L&O:SVU, NCIS, The Amazing Race) and I flick through hours of crap like anyone else. But, if left to my own devices I'll watch a movie if I'm lazy; otherwise I'll read or listen to music.

Books:

Books are like Lays: I don't read just one. My idea of reading is finding an author I like and then reading everything they write before moving on to the next author. My favorite authors are Piers Anthony, Stephen King, Patricia Cornwell (saw her give a lecture! [grin]), Faye and Jonathan Kellerman, James Patterson, Issac Asimov, and I even read the whole V.C. Andrews series because I was facinated with the monstrocities of her characters!

Heroes:

My adopted parents, my biological mother (rest her soul), and those that have loved me long enough to learn to love myself.
See above for famous people I'd like to meet! [laughs]
