About Me

Let's see...I'm a Senior at UGA, originally from a small town now living in Athens, but in a year I will be finished with school and I am still debating what to do after that...I clog (no it's not puffy hair and wooden shoes). I own a dance studio in Dawsonville, but I joined a new clogging team, Dynamic Edition in Alabama, (video below), so I pretty much have no life outside of dancing and school. That's okay though because I love my life dearly and wouldn’t change a thing about it. The most important thing in my life, besides the kids I teach, is to grow to be a better person every day. I don't really take myself or life in general too seriously, but it is fun to watch everybody else do so. I am the least judgmental person ever (it actually annoys people I know because I am so open-minded). People and conflict really don't affect me...I understand that people have issues that they have to deal with and I pray for those who need drama in their lives to feel complete.Really, I am just pretty random: I am almost positive that I am ADD, possibly ADHD; People seem to dismiss my intelligence sometimes because I possess a sense of humor; I am a borderline hippie in the way that I think; I make lame jokes in my head constantly; I love to meet new people (sometimes it is awesome, but sometimes it is a huge let down); I am not materialistic at all--when you grow up with no money you don't really ever seem to miss it; I believe strongly in hard work, and I have EARNED everything I have now; I care a lot about civil rights and women's rights; I love sitting on front porches, looking at stars, or thinking in general; I know where I stand on pretty much every issue; I can be really stubborn at times; I am really unorganized and messy, yet I am a perfectionist; anything that deals with a movie reference is funny to me ("I'm right on top of that Rose" and "Harry I took care of it"); I have the tendency to ramble...a lot; anything that is done outside is cool with me; I am the world's worst procrastinator; and I guess I sometimes seem like a walking contradiction (I have been described as an enigma before...I'm not sure whether that is good or bad???). Basically, my goal in life is to be able to say that I made a difference in some way to some one, but there is no reason to not have fun while I try...
